I decided on the shrimp and oyster bo boy with fries. It totaled to 18 plus some change and I left a tip so my all around total came to 21.21. My personal opinion of this place . I did love that the sandwich came with lots of fresh produce. UnfortunatelyI?ve had better for less. I don?t think the prices are worth the food but everyone has different taste. Also the customerservice was great. The food didn?t take long and I will say the fries were my favorite part of the meal. Being made fresh.
This food is so well seasoned, I don't even know what to say. Having lived in NOLA for years, my tolerance to seafood is incredibly high. Usually I'm only served up disappointment when I go get seafood, but at Beaux Southern Seafood, my fatboy selfis always 100% blown away by how happy I am. This is the type of place I keep eating and eating and eating until I fall into aliteral food coma. 10/10, one of the best seafood spots I've ever been to outside of Louisiana and Florida.
I ordered the fish tacos, my stepdaughter got the catfish basket, and we also got the crawfish Mac to take home for leftovers. The slaw was delicious, I'm not sure what they put in it but it was amazing. All the food was fried perfectly and the green onions in the crawfish Mac were fantastic. Despite a pesky wasp bothering us, it didn't stop me from enjoying my meal. Overall, a great spot to enjoy some tasty southern cuisine!
A colleague recommended this restaurant to my husband, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the food. The dishes were extremely salty, making them inedible. The crawfish fettuccini lacked flavor and had very few crayfish pieces. The $12 peacemaker dish only had 3 shrimp without breading and 2 soggy fried oysters. The bread was wet and mushy. Despite requesting no salt on the fries, they were overly salty. The chips were hard, stale, and salty. The crawfish queso was watery and overly salty as well. Overall, the $50 meal was not worth it and we had to go elsewhere to eat. We are extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend this restaurant. We would not serve this type of food to our family, so why serve it to customers? We will not be returning and would like a refund.
