Different types of pasta and everyone gets everything parmed, which is a heaping pile of melted mozzarella cheese on top of any dish. The complimentary fresh bread and oilare good. The dishes are good as well; the chicken cutlet is really good. The meatballs are dense but have good flavor. Thesauce is a sweet smooth marinara. The only downfall is the prices. $7 for garlic bread. $6 for a small cup of sherbet. $16 for 3stuffed shells, plus another $6 to have it parm?d and then another $5 for chicken. Be prepared to easily spend $40-50 per personhere. The upside to that is that the portions are fairly large and two people can share and leave satisfied. Service is slightlyon the slow side but we?ve always had fairly pleasant wait staff.
I love Chef's, definitely a must if you're visiting Buffalo. I have always been a fan of their sweet sauce, 100% my favorite. Their spaghetti parm is famous and made with so much butter and cheese so it's not the place to go for health food. Thatbeing said, they do have salads and soups as well! The French onion has a great beefy flavor and they have a gluten free optionas well. Overall, I would always recommend chef's it's my go to for birthdays and visitors from out of state!
Chefs is a must visit Italian restaurant when you?re in the Buffalo area. I?ve had several dishes here and have never left here hungry or disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised to find gluten free options too. I highly recommend this restaurant!
What can I say about chefs.. has been a staple for many years on buffalo n.y.. the spaghetti ???? parm and the sauce are out of this world, French onion soup is delicious ????, the meatballs are homade (tip: don't roll so tightly) and tasty.. onlycomplaint is how early they close.. especially they close at 8 and I get out of work at 8 ????
First time visit. The place was packed at 4PM on a Saturday night, but we had reservations, and we were promptly seated with no waiting. Our server quickly brought water, bread, asked what we wanted to drink and if we were ready to order. Our dinners were very good, served quickly and hot. One of the things people love is spaghetti parm. I had this as a side with my eggplant. The eggplant was very good, but I'm not sold on the spaghetti parm for myself. Others in the party enjoyed it just not my thing. We all walked away a few pounds heavier and will be back.
