Oasis - Bundaberg

In general, I don't write reviews, but this was a terrible dining experience. I ordered a vegetarian salad and was given bacon bits from a frozen package. My husband ordered a seafood basket, but everything was overcooked. When we informed the chef, he was dismissive and said, "Here we go, there must be something wrong with you." He made excuses and blamed his staff, who he described as very erratic. He even accused many other cafes in Bundy of similar issues. I do not recommend dining at Oasis.

Not impressed, mushroom dry and old. dry chop meat huh on a roll. not sure why they have broken the chicken like baby food, but it rolled in small dry balls from the bungalow. the coffee was beautiful.

I do not typically write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at the Oasis restaurant today. The owner was rude, aggressive, and unfairly accused me of wrongdoing. I was not dissatisfied with the service until he made baseless accusations against me. He accused me of dropping money into the tip jar, even though I had paid for my milkshake in the proper manner. We were informed that the establishment would be closing in 10 minutes when we ordered our drinks, so we decided to sit and enjoy them before leaving. I did not feel that I had behaved inappropriately in any way. After leaving, the owner accused me of leaving money on the counter in a disrespectful manner. He claimed to be able to discern personality types after years in the industry, but his judgment was completely unfounded. I was upset and shaken by this encounter and hope that others who have experienced similar treatment will speak out. I also wish to warn potential customers to steer clear of this toxic establishment.

Excellent breakfast menu under $20 in the center of bundaberg. prompt service. decor is somewhat obsolete and tables could do with some covers.

If you are looking for a modern cafe experience this is not for you. This is an old fashioned country style cafe delivering basic good value meals. We visited on a Sunday morning and found that the locals were in the majority. The breakfast has...well cooked and well proportioned. Overall we felt we received good price value.
