Nick's Barbecue - Burbank

This restaurant used to be one of my favorite spots when I was younger, but my recent visit was quite disappointing. The young staff members were not friendly at all, and the waitress who served us was actually rude. To make matters worse, we had to clean our own table because none of them were clean. The noise level was overwhelming, with loud music, blaring TVs, and the sound of slot machines making it impossible to enjoy the atmosphere or even have a conversation with my dining partner. I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon. Very disappointing.

We live near this restaurant and used to visit frequently, but after the disrespect my husband experienced during his last visit, I strongly advise against supporting such a rude establishment. My husband accidentally dropped his phone in the parking lot, and it broke. He was with our son and needed to call me to let me know what happened, so he asked the manager if he could use the restaurant's phone. Not only did the manager refuse his request (which is understandable), but he also ridiculed my husband in front of both staff and other customers for even asking. It breaks my heart that my husband and son had to go through such an unpleasant encounter over a simple request. While I understand that the business wasn't required to help, the manager could have easily chosen to be more considerate, especially considering there was a baby involved in the situation.

I had the half portion of baby back ribs, and they were delicious! It came with three sides: a baked potato, corn on the cob, and coleslaw. Everything was great, and for once, I didn't have any leftovers!

This used to be my go to. Best around. They stopped carrying Diet pop for some reason. Now I 'm forced other places. And no Pepsi zero is not god damn diet pop.

Ordered a meatball sub and a chicken parm sandwich. The chicken was chewy/stringy. Like eating a piece of bubble gum. Terrible. No sauce either sandwich. Would not recommend.
