Celebrated my husband's surprise 60th birthday at Darren's and it was a fantastic evening! Darren came up with great menu options and the food was excellent. Great atmosphere, service and every meal served up was spot on. Thanks to the chef. A beautiful short walk from the Crown Towers. Made my decision based on reviews, was definitely not disappointed. Thanks for a lovely night Darren!

If you're staying at THE CROWN and not in the mood for a huge buffet breakfast, take a short 5-10 minute walk to Darren's Small Bar for some amazing coffee and tasty food. They have a variety of options to choose from, quick and friendly service, and a laid-back atmosphere. Just be careful not to let your wife convince you to buy an apartment on the way back!

We came up from Mandurah and found this quaint little spot, what a hidden gem! The owner was so lovely and the food was wonderful. Great wine and beer. We will definitely be back.

We were staying at the Crown and it was really crowded, so we were glad we chose to eat at Darrens instead! The food was fantastic, and the service was even better. We will definitely be returning.
