Marston's Pub - Burton upon Trent

I have hosted charity nights, psychic events, vegan gatherings, and more at the Albion Pub for years, utilizing both the function room and the ground floor. The function space is more than adequate, equipped with everything needed for these events, and the staff is always eager to meet our requirements. The décor and furnishings are very pleasing, and the space is consistently cozy and warm with plenty of windows. The pub boasts a wonderful atmosphere, with amazing employees who are always happy to help, along with supportive management that is readily available. I wouldn’t choose another venue. 10/10, highly recommend!

What a lovely atmosphere next to Marston's Brewery! There’s plenty of parking, and the place is beautifully lit. This was the first stop on our alphabet date night, and we had never visited before. I must say, it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The staff was friendly, the venue was impeccably clean, the food looked delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely return, and I’ll be recommending it to my friends. It does have the feel of a chain pub, and I believe it could attract even more customers if the quality and uniqueness were just a bit higher. Overall, I had a great experience! After the move from a lot to ashbourne and then to burton, plus a year of isolation in between, and literally no one in the city knowing the personal and the local were so inviting! the atmosphere is friendly, eating is great and the cocktails are far below the average price in the environment! the youngest open microphone evenings were very entertaining! it is really such a friendly pub and I definitely recommend!

I recently visited The Albion while searching for a new dining spot in Burton, and it was easy to find with plenty of space available. We quickly found a table and I ordered the 8oz rare rump steak. The steak was tender and easy to cut, making for a delightful meal. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience, and I would highly recommend this place to friends. The staff were also excellent.

Well situated pub, friendly accommodating staff, atmosphere is always lively and have never had a bad meal. My two children are always made to feel welcome, more so than any other pub I have been in. The garden in the summer, is the best around and open mic night is always a great turnout….. get down there on a thurs night. All round great pub!!!! Massive thumbs up
