Mouth watering yummies! The pies have amazing combos! Oreo, butterfinger, Andes mints, etc. and they have traditional pies like coconut cream, berries, etc! We love pies for all occasions and these beautiful pies are truly masterpieces! The dining room is us bigger than we thought, so I would love to bring the whole family next time! The grill station is where the magic happens. The orchestrator is the awesome lady at the grill!! She was dynamic! The staff all seem to be very friendly and personable. They work well together. The happy sounds of happy patrons and rhythmic grill is an endearing vibe! I would use this as background noise in my house any day if the week. I like the the menu! Any the option of ordering real maple syrup for breakfast. Hubby had 2 yummy pork chops, over-easy eggs, home fries, and gluten-free toast! I had the Hearty Siebel's sampler so that I could try a bit of everything! I had extra crispy bacon, a sausage patty, over easy eggs, perfect grits, and pancakes. I am a pancake snob, so let me tell you that this fluffy pancake is amazing! Literally so airy, pillow soft, yet thick and satisfying! It tasted like a lot of Love goes into the food! And of course, I knock over my coffee. Ms Carol and crew rushed to my rescue ! It was clean in no time! Bravo team! We had a lovely meal and we look forward to our next visit. I want to come for lunch or dinner too, because I want to try the adult milkshakes :
My husband and I went there on Saturday night and were extremely disappointed. We walked in and had to wait for someone to even acknowledge our standing there. A waitress stood with another one, saw us, grinned at us and was twirling around, but never bothered to seat us. Finally some cook said someone would seat us, finally another waitress seated us. The grinning waitress came over, took our order which included a Caesar salad. No bread was given to us. We waited for our food- in the meantime 2 other servers stopped to ask me if I wanted a Caesar salad. When the third server asked me, I finally said that the waitress and another server already asked me. Our waitress just stood by the stairs grinning at us. We finally got our entrees and then my salad was served a bit after. It was lousy, my fried chicken and my husband's shepherds pie was adequate. My husband finished his before I was done, so the grinning waitress removed his plate and asked about dessert. I was annoyed and told her I was still eating. Anyone with a brain would have gotten the hint and apologized and left us alone so I could finish my meal. Then she comes back again and asks about dessert. I told her that I'd like to finish my meal. She walked away grinning and then came back with the check. There was us and 1 other table who the owner was chatting with. Not only is the service poor, food adequate- nothingspecial, but it needs a total remodel. Never again at this place.
It is what you'd expect from a local diner/bar. The food is good, fresh and hot. Just don't go here hungry. The food takes a while to come out. Two scrambled eggs and a sausage patty took 25 mins and there only a four other tables and they had all been served.
We are visiting from out of town and always remember Seibel's restaurant from 24 years ago when we lived here. My husband and I had an awesome breakfast yesterday so went back today with relatives for a wonderful birthday brunch celebration. Debbie, our server, was perfect both days. The restaurant is being very Covid 19 safe and that is much appreciated by the immunocompromised people in our party. The food is as good or even better than we remember. Standard breakfast fare, but the birthday boy wanted steamed clams (at 11:30 am) and they graciously accomodated his wish. There are very good options for specialized diets whether low carb, low fat, or gluten free, etc. The coffee is hot and tasty freshly brewed and in a carafe for the table. We let our other relatives in the area know of our good experience here and they want to come as well. It's nice to know of an old standard restaurant (from the days when the Amish market was across the street) survived over the years and especially this past pandemic year. I really hope they continue to do well for our future visits to this area!!
My wife and I have been coming here for several years for lunch, dinner and cocktails, we have always loved it here. Great people and great ambiance but we have never been here for breakfast and they surely didn 't disappoint. We both had The Regular Breakfast, 2 eggs, choice of meat, side and bread, I had the 2 eggs over easy, home fries well done w/ onions and bacon with a English Muffin where my wife had same only with the home made sausage which is thier fathers recipe and is quite possibly the best sausage I have ever had. My breakfast was good but potatoes could have been more well done (crispy) and I hate to diss them because I love this place but i only do honest and real reviews, all the little margerine containers were open when the waitress brought them and when I mentioned it to her she said, yeh they came that way . Unacceptable answer, they should not have been given to us that way period, she did get me new ones tho. Bottom line- Really good, fresh mafe to order food that will not break your wallet.
