We haven’t stayed with the Blind Bull yet but we received such good customer service I felt compelled to leave a review. We had a room and dinner reservation booked and needed to rearrange at short notice as our young daughter who has type 1 diabetes was unexpectedly hospitalised causing a lot of worry. The team rebooked us without question and we are now looking forward to our visit even more. Thank you for abandoning the “T’s and C’s” and taking into account the fact that life can sometimes throw curve balls, brilliant. Service: 5
One word: Brilliant. I can highly recommend their Sunday roast menu and will definitely be back soon. Be sure to book in advance! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Highly disappointing Sunday lunch. Despite requesting a table with a view and booking this several weeks in advance, we were seated upstairs right next to the kitchen with no view at all. The stench of fish emanating from the ktichen was overbearing which suggests to me that it was not entirely fresh. This was meant to be a special occasion but the meal was not of a standard that we would expect from a restaurant recommended in the Michelin Guide. My mother's shoulder of lamb was so fatty that she had to leave half of it. The carrot mash was only luke warm. The vegetables were not as advertised on the menu. The red wine was definitely of a low quality grape, leaving a sour aftertaste. We felt that the staff were derisive and did not react well to the concerns that we raised. So overall it was not a great experience and was certainly not worth the money. Needless to say, we won't be returning.
