First time to try to eat here, we're very Satisfied what we order, the food was really good, tummy Happy, definitely coming back.
Went in for breakfast, just my 3 yr old daughter and myself. It was busy but there was no waiting line. The hostess that attempted to seat us in a booth was very abruptly and rudely advised by the woman behind the bar that a regular that was dining alone and walking around talking to everyone was designated to be seated at that booth. She continued her rudeness to this very kind and quiet young lady that we could just wait 20 minutes or sit at the high bar. I told the hostess that it seemed abit too hostile for us so we headed down the road to Cheryl’s
Just moved here. Every food/coffee place that has been recommended to us has been a disappointment. Waitress came over and took our order and by ours I mean my husbands I wasn't ready yet so instead of coming back she stood there and waited so I couldn't even think to decide what I wanted. She didn't check on us once after we had gotten our food. The biscuits and gravy were recommended they were ok. Not good but not terrible. I wasn't really impressed with their food and certainly not with the customer service, we won't be going back.
From the moment my husband and I walked in the first time we were stared at and given subpar service. We figured maybe they were just understaffed, and maybe we were overreacting. I figured I’d give them another chance however when we went again yesterday, we noticed they were being very friendly with other tables and we were treated quite differently. The waitress seemed unhappy to be attending to us. My husband is african american and I am hispanic, however I didn’t want to assume this is what was happening to us, however when I see here that other people of color are experiencing the same thing at this location we’re now starting to believe we aren’t crazy. It is a true shame that this restaurant makes people of color feel so uncomfortable as soon as they walk through the door. I would suggest that if you are appalled at this type of behavior from any institution, that you not support this locale. In order to create change we have to stand with those who are still being gaslighted and mistreated.
