Cafe China Express: The Pier Shopping Centre

The fantastic service, stunning views, and customer-focused staff make it a great spot for enjoying Chinese cuisine.

My friends and I recently dined at Cafe China (restaurant area), and we are huge fans of Chinese cuisine and quite picky. The food was honestly amazing! We are a group of friends who have tried many Chinese restaurants and this one really impressed us. We are planning to go back this Wednesday to dine again, even though we have to drive for over an hour to get there. That's how much we enjoyed the meal! The service was also excellent and the prices were very reasonable.

This restaurant is not very fancy, but that also means the prices are not cheap. However, I had a lovely dinner with a great view of the marina at a reasonable price. The food arrived quickly after ordering and was delicious.

Disclaimer: I was only here twice. for the first time I had her hainanese chicken rice, which was 100% terrible. absolutely not her forte and I highly recommend to go over the road to nasi n mee when that is what they are. I decided to try again, however, a noodle dish as it is a noodleable. the char kway teow was quite ok, big serve with at least 7 garnels. needed chili, but this is a personal preference so if they plan to come here, they order a noodle dish like this or laksa, seems what they are good.

Great food if it is to your liking, they don't take reservations and the place gets filled up quickly when you find it open so be early or prepared to wait. Has a great view being on the waterfront. Moderately priced.
