Che Zest - Cairns

To this day my favourite cafe in Australia. The coffee is utterly delicious, the pastries were out of this world. Service was lovely, atmosphere was calm and bright. My partner and I would go several times a week. Traveling around the whole of Australia and I can’t find any cafe that comes close to Chezest.

The food and desserts at this restaurant are fantastic. My boyfriend is from Spain and he says the torrija and Tortilla (Spanish omelet) remind him of his grandmother's cooking. I keep returning because I can't get enough. The only downside is that the coffee takes a bit too long to be served. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is dog-friendly.

Amazing food and service every time I go here! Simple breakfast foods done perfectly the soufflé pancakes are to die for! Pastries and breads are made in store and they are incredible The coffee here is one of the best in Cairns

This cafe pays great attention to detail. I ordered the salmon baguette and my friend had the gluten-free frittata, both of which were delicious. The coffee was strong and we also tried a fruit Danish and a flourless chocolate cheesecake, both of which were fantastic. However, it can be a bit challenging to avoid dairy with their menu. The quality crockery and local art from Canopy enhance the overall experience. The staff were friendly and clearly dedicated. I would definitely return to this cafe.

Great coffee and really good food, no doubt about that. Waiters are friendly too! The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because the portions are quite small given how expensive the dishes are can’t help but feel like I’m getting ripped off a bit… other than that, it’s still a lovely place and I wish I had time to try their pastries!
