Phetyai Thai - Cairns

This place was extremely busy the evening when I ordered take-away with numerous diners at the limited tables. It seemed very popular.

My partner and I have a little competition to see who can find the best TomYum.After 12 mths of tastings, I think this one would be my second fave. It's a hole in the wall outlet for takeaway and very casual street-side dining (so don't take someone on a romantic date here!) Run by a happy smiling bunch who obviously enjoy what they do. Great value, good location to eat whilst people watching, and a good range of affordable dishes.

Been there couple of times and it was always good. Serving portion is huge so if you don't eat a lot, you can just order and have it for 2 meals. Recommended.

This restaurant is the best of the best shop in Cairns. Authentic Thai asian cuisine. Genuine and lovely people/staff. The owner she is so kice to everyone. I would recommend this shop to everyone. Almost tried all of their food in the menu and everythings is so good and delicouse. Would rate 6 here if there's an option.

Take away food was fast fresh n delicious... Ordered green chicken curry and missus had chicken and cashew nut was **** fantastic.. Eat here.
