Prawn Star - Cairns

I kept walking by and wishing I could stop in to try some fresh seafood. Finally, on my last day, I decided to give it a go. I ordered half a dozen of the best oysters I've ever had, paired with a glass of wine, all for just $20! The staff were wonderful and friendly. I can’t wait to go back for the jumbo platter!

This place is worth a visit the food is amazing and the staff are extremely friendly and can’t do enough for you. Definitely a must

My son and I arrived in Cairns on the P&O Pacific Dawn for just 1 day. All the passengers left to go snorkling, sightseeing, skyrailing and train riding. We have already previously enjoyed the wonders of Cairns so we went in search of beautiful fresh oysters. The lovely young lady selling the bus tickets at the wharf recommended the Prawn Star. OMG Thank you! We had, what started off as one 'share ' plate of amazing oysters and ended up being two dozen of the freshest oysters and wasabi salmon we have ever had. The beers and wine topped off an unforgettable experience. We returned to the cruise ship so happy and convinced that we had just experienced the best ever 'day tour ' in Cairns. Thank you! We can 't stop telling everyone what a great Aussie way to enjoy amazing seafood.

The food was incredible! It was so delicious that we ended up ordering an additional $15 worth of mixed prawns after enjoying the jumbo seafood platter. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the mood for fresh seafood!

The food was incredible and fresh. The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They even suggested that we wait out the rain for a bit. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely return!
