Benji's Taqueria Mexican Grill 2

Benji’s a local authentic taqueria dishing out generously filled tacos. Visited Benji’s on the recommendation from a friend who moved to the area from California. We ordered the Guac and chips which we found to be incredibly fresh and superbly seasoned. The Birria tacos come in a set of three. Packed to the gills with very tender shreds of possibly slow cooked brisket that packed immense flavor. The consume was very flavorful as well. But, found it to be saltier and greasier than I would have preferred. Every now and then it’s great to line your insides with greasy lubricants, no difference compared to a car. Prepare to take some antacids. Worth it for the flavor!

There was an event on my block same day as my birthday haha lucky I know). Big shut out to Benji’s Taqueria, thanks for showed up that day. We enjoyed the tacos, everything was delicious! And most of all Thank you so much to Mauricio and Jenny, you guys were amazing, super friendly and helpful.

Omg too good, very tasty, juicy, I'm new to the area and I said let me try and I really didn't regret it, I ordered chorizo and steak tacos and a steak quesadilla and omg my favorite restaurant right now. And my husband went crazy

Amazing food quality and mango drink is out of this world! Definitely recommend

We happen to find this place when the place we were going to was closed down the road.My wife and I were very impressed with the food. The shrimp ceviche was the best we had. They are not cheap with the shrimp and nowhere in Dover where we had it can make it like here.We go out of our way to make a trip here a few times a month. The only funny thing to comment on and its nothing bad, is the choice of tv viewing. They continuously loop Benji commercials all day. They should have some kind of TV viewing but obviously not a deal breaker at all. Just a funny comment.We have been to both locations and definitely prefer the Caldwell location.
