LaPadella Modern Italian Cuisine

My wife and I have visited this restaurant a couple of times in the last few months and we have been very impressed with the high quality of the food, it truly is top notch! While I heard that it had a different name in 2015, the current version of the restaurant offers delicious Italian cuisine at reasonable prices. The décor is a bit rustic and the service can be a bit uneven at times, but it is always friendly and accompanied by a smile, which we find charming. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I didn't feel like this restaurant had an authentic Italian vibe. The Italian food was decent, but the pasta was a bit overpriced. I also wish they would provide real chili peppers instead of a generic hot pepper mix for the pasta. We ordered two veal sandwiches for takeout that ended up costing over $20, but in my opinion, they were good but not worth the price.

Saw this restaurant as I drove by as I live in the neighborhood. Small but cosy with friendly knowledgeable service No kids menu the food is for grownups. I had the penne alla Palermo. Spicy with great tasting sausage and meatballs. I found the portion a bit on the smallish side. My wife lasagna perfect amount of cheese and tasty meat sauce. The pasta appeared to be fresh and was not the thick gooey type used by most home style versions. Our friend had the honey salmon special she said it was delicious.The tomato sauce on all the pasta dishes is very tasty.Menu on the whole is typical for Italian restaurants in the GTA surprising that the little town of Caledon has such a good Italian restaurant as well as a good Japanese restaurant. Viva cuisine!

What a delightful surprise...food was excellent and staff was super friendly. Last minute adventure out for a birthday dinner. Could not have asked for a nicer experience. P.S. Dessert crepe is excellent!!!!! Will definitely be back to this location

Today was our second visit to La Padella. We started with a classic Caesar salad and the featured spinach salad with apples, walnuts, and feta in a balsamic vinaigrette. For the main course we had pasta -- fettuccine with chicken, mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes in a white wine cream sauce, and penne with meatballs, italian sausage, peppers, and mushrooms in a spicy pink sauce.The food at La Padella is great...this place should be packed all the time!!! We will return very soon.
