Ray's 3rd Generation - Caledon

The food was delightful—I had the lasagna along with a carrot ginger soup—but the service was quite slow. It took 85 minutes for my meal to arrive (not including the complimentary bread, which was also very tasty).

Absolutely the best! The food is outstanding, and the staff are very professional. The atmosphere is wonderful, and they often have live music. It's our favorite restaurant, and we keep returning time and time again!

Excellent food live music for dinner and lunch. Rotating menu, had the calamari, caprese salad french onion soup. Came with complimentary bread and olive tapenade- yum! Tried the ceasar salad-fresh, crispy and real bacon bits. Everything prepared to perfection. Good selection of local bevvies, good tea selection. Reservations highly recommended. A true bistro, the baked goods are delicious, had cookies for takeaway-excellent packaging and presentation. Staff is diverse, some have been working for 12+ years. Very accommodating. Highly recommend.

This was the first time visiting Ray's and it was an enjoyable experience. We chose to be seated on the patio which was nice and quiet. The menu offered a nice selection of appetizers and entrees. I wasn't sure what I wanted and settled on an organic burger and my wife had a lamb burger. I asked if it came with fries on the side and it didn't but I could choose a side salad. Good lord no wonder they don't offer fries. They don't have to. That Caesar salad was a meal in itself and the burger was huge and mouth watering. Best salad I have had in a long time.
