Bally's Bar & Grill - Calgary

Just moved to the area, so thought we'd try out their $7 weekend breakfast - we were surprised to find that it was very good - especially considering the price. Two eggs, either bacon or sausage, hasbrowns and toast. Can't beat that - and it was not at all disappointing. Its a real bar - not many eating tables. But handy and great prices. Apparently the other food is very good - so will try out for a supper or lunch sometime.

I dropped in on a Thursday afternoon, killing time until my appointment down the street. I felt comfortable going in alone, even though the clientele was mostly older men. Great service and good prices, I had the sweet potato fries with a mango mayo sauce, delicious! Piping hot and lots of them, I'd go back, it's a nice comfortable place.

The bar food at this place is surprisingly good. I highly recommend trying the Greek pizza! It's also a great spot to hang out with friends, watch a game, or listen to a local band. I would definitely come back again!

The budget breakfast at this restaurant is excellent. On Saturdays and Sundays, you can get 3 strips of bacon or sausage, 2 eggs, hashbrowns, and toast for just $5. The food is fresh and delicious. Our server was very friendly and the meals were served quickly.

I tried the chicken Philly and a side Caesar salad, both of which were outstanding. The salad was especially large and the Philly had an abundance of onions and peppers. This pub is definitely my favorite in the neighborhood.
