The day I went in, the young woman cooking the burgers had a hat on but hair hanging three inches over both shoulders. It made me wonder what other food safety practices were slipshod. I don't blame the servers. I blame the manger who obviously did not instruct his staff and/or insist they follow health regulations. Meanwhile, I won't be back.
There's more places to go that understand it's more than cooking burgers. Have you ever gone somewhere & felt like you were interrupting someone's work versus being the purpose of it? Enter Boardwalk. Restaurants dropping like flies in Calgary & you have an owner that has no idea how to inspire his staff. More bun than burger. Cold bun straight from the kitchen. Meat was dry. Fries shoestring basic. Returning? How about never.
We were very excited to try this burger restaurant, but unfortunately the food was substandard and the service was even worse. I'll leave it at that. I am sorry but poor is poor no getting around it. Perhaps these reviews will help them improve.
Had a siraccha Burger and a Chipotle. Don't waste your money here. The burgers are under seasoned - the taste like just a mound of beef... The fries are soft, no crisp at all. The shakes are the saving grace that gives this place 2 stars... The shakes are great - overpriced like everything else, but good.
I'd often drive-by and never really stopped, but decided to go in today and give it a try. Single burger almost 8 dollars double burger almost $10 and I think $4.49 if you want to make it a combo.Food was really average at best.Really thin burger patty nothing much to it. As disappointing as the food was the restaurant self was very unclean. Ketchup bottles not wiped down, tables caked with old Ketchup, ants crawling on the table beside us. Just not very clean at all.First and last time there.
