After a 15 hr drive to Calgary we decided a nice familiar meal would be nice. This BP was a block away so we hiked over for a light dinner. This consisted of 2 bowls of French Onion soup and a shared 10 in pizza. The soup was very hot which was good. What concerned me was the lack of people in the restaurant and the fact the soup may have sat on warm all day. It was flavored well but extremely strong salt. Like the broth thickened with a whole day of simmering. There was more salt than onion. It has a couple pieces of a hard bread with a spattering of mozzarella on it, then after a time in the oven, a light sprinkling of parm cheese. In shirt, not my favorite soup today. The pizza tasted and felt like it was deep-fried. The crust was greasy and crisp. I don't remember having one like this in the BP back home. Like all pizzas from this company, the flavour is not bad when hot, but as it cools, it starts to taste very artificial. Chemical like. Not my best BP experience.
