We felt very comfortable sitting in a stand as they placed the reserved markers on the table. We were even asked at one point if we were to stay. For someone to come and serve us, and we knew that we were discussing the conversation between not only the servers, but the customers I suspect the stands should have been reserved. I never felt so uncomfortable in a bar ever!!! All you had to do was ask if we thought to move into another table! Welcome to Canada
I wasn't sure if they housed minors, but they do, I came with my 1 year old granddaughter. They had the perfect high chair for them and the service was great. Had the wings and fries and both were hot and fresh. Will definitely be back for dinner without the little one.
Last evening I was asked to dine on this terrace for a friend's birthday in a very small environment. Our server immediately served us drinks and our adult children sitting next to us on the table came to our table (provisionally) to say hello and extend a birthday wish. The manager passed extremely loud, rude and aggressively and he said if you don't respect the rules and back to your table you can go. Everyone played with us and it was humiliating. The young lady, who was the main goal of this bull of a manager, was almost in tears. When I looked around the terrace, there were 3 other tables of males sitting together, but definitely not living in the same household.... so we felt isolated. We wanted to pay our bill and leave full cocktails (used) on the table. I am a professional lady with over 30 years of customer service experience. There is a way to talk to a lady/person, whether a patron supports your institution without creating a scene or humiliating someone. It is unfortunate that this man has decided to punish and annoy the faithful males instead of exercising kindness and professionalism. I will never go back to this ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN!
After a very long day in the rain we drove through the McKenzie Towne to find Brewsters. Siri was twisted a little so you need to keep your eyes open. We have the last parking lot and went in to meet at one of the few remaining tables. From there it was a great experience. I saw a rather big beer list, and chose four options for my flight one was just decent, but the others were all pretty good. There is a large menu and the family went in many different directions. I landed on fish tacos and darts, and they met the place. The service was very friendly, and it came around at reasonable intervals. As mentioned elsewhere, it is a tad on the expensive side, but overall we were happy with our choice and would go back.
We were in town for the Calgary Ironman 70.3 and needed a burger after the races. Stopped in, had a few beers and a great burger. Waitress did a great job taking care of our needs. The whole family enjoyed their meals and the restaurant....Thank you!
