Local 522 - Calgary

I visit this restaurant at least twice a month, which speaks volumes considering the vast number of dining options available in Calgary. Making reservations is simple, but they also typically accommodate last minute walk-ins. The service is good and the food... exceptional. The atmosphere is lively, yet conducive to conversation without having to shout. They are well-prepared for busy lunch rushes, ensuring prompt service. I particularly enjoy their meat dishes, which are not your average cuts. They offer a standard variety of beers and spirits as well.

Here for lunch for 1 day. Excellent location right in the centre of Calgary. Eating well and staff very helpful.

Late lunch with staff. The food was very good. I had the Cuban and a soup. the Cuban was great. coworkers had local burgers and one had the perogies and sausages. Both meals looked great. Our server Sydney looked after us very well....Thanks Sydney!

Worst service ever!! 10 minutes waiting for our waitress (who did notice us) who was doing a shot (maybe more) with another table, then visiting (as in sitting and chatting) with another table before finally wandering over to ours. 4-5 minutes later she returned wondering...what I had ordered to drink. After dropping off two beers she went to sit with her friends again, without bothering to take our lunch order which we eventually gave to the bartender. A manager dropped off the food without bringing condiments, etc....so the bartender did. Tip....3% and she actually laughed it over while with another waitress and her friends at the table that were buying her shots. Hopefully they will tip her better. Our small company of 16 employees whom frequent the place occasionally will take our business elsewhere. Paul

Always have a good experience here. We had the pizza and the macaroni and cheese, both were good, but the bottom of the macaroni bowl was a bit greasy. Service was efficient and friendly. Beer was cold. They also have Rock Creek Cider on tap,...which is a treat.
