Took the family out to have a celebratory dinner for two graduates. The atmosphere was definitely Greek, the food was wonderful and fresh. The house wine was fresh and crisp. The service was lovely and we never felt bothered. We had a perfect experience. I hope more people will take the time to visit and enjoy the food. Thank you to the lovely owner and her son Luca for a wonderful evening. We decimated the delicious dessert.
We read some reviews before going there and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing!! Every bite was followed by a “oh wow that is good!” The owner is a fun and attentive person.Food is authentic and really really good.Definitely one we will return to.
The dinner platter for two is both delicious and an outstanding value. You get moussaka, calamari, lamb and chicken souvlaki, spanakopita, tiropita, rice, and potatoes. Unless you brought a huge appetite, expect to take home some leftovers. Our server greeted us like we were old friends even if this was our first time to dine here. Come for the food, stay for the experience.
My husband and I wandered far from home to attend a wedding rehearsal and were searching for a place to have a late supper even on a Friday night, a lot of restaurants close at 9pm . After a misdirected turn from Google Maps into a condo complex, we stumbled into this unassuming Greek restaurant. Our server, Ana, greeted us like old friends and we were promptly seated by a beautifully decorated wall with enlarged photos of Greece. We ordered the Dinner Platter for 2 which included moussaka, chicken and lamb souvlaki, tzatziki, spanakopita, calamari, tiropita, rice and potatoes. The chicken and lamb souvlaki was tender and well seasoned and the lightly breaded calamari just melted like butter in your mouth. Plaka also makes the best spanakopita and tiropita that I've ever tasted the Feta is imported from Greece, so it has a distinct taste texture that differs from the briny North American Feta. The Boutari Cambas white with light, crisp notes was the perfect accompaniment to our platter. To finish our feast, we shared a bougatsa warm phyllo wrapped custard delicious and not too sweet! We left with full stomachs and warmed hearts!
