I called the number and. it was out of service. can anyone confirm?
This is the perfect spot for: a) individuals with high expectations that have yet to be met; b) those who have been let down by small portion sizes and are in need of a morale boost; c) individuals who believe the focus in a restaurant should be on the food rather than the atmosphere; d) those who prefer their sushi restaurant not to smell like fish and believe quality should not come with a hefty price tag; e) those with an insatiable appetite. The kind and attentive owners, Eddie, create a welcoming atmosphere and delicious dining experience.
As I made my way back to my hotel, I stumbled upon a hidden gem of a sushi restaurant. After circling the block, I parked in front, grabbed my belongings, and walked in. The restaurant was nearly empty as they were closing soon, but that didn't bother me. I was greeted by the five employees standing in a line, a tradition I found charming. I was quickly offered a drink and a menu, although I already knew what I wanted. The hour flew by and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, especially the unagi that arrived just as I finished my last piece of maguro. I will definitely be returning.
A group of us ordered food from Wasabi via Just Eat, and our experience was disappointing. The delivery was mixed up, leading to our food being delivered warm and mangled. When we called to express our dissatisfaction, the manager offered a discount for our next dine-in visit. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, the service was poor and the quality of the food was subpar. It seemed like they purposely lowered the quality of our meal because of the discount promised. To make matters worse, we did not receive the promised discount, but a lesser amount. Overall, our experience at Wasabi was disappointing and we would not recommend it.
When I feel like a quick hit of sushi I like slipping into this conveniently located sushi restaurant. The food is good, the choice of sushi is good, the service is excellent as is the value. I am often on my own and this is...a place where I feel very comfortable and am not treated as a pariah because I am a single woman.
