Nicky's Gyros - Calumet City

I always stop by this restaurant since there aren't many options available when I get home from work. The food is consistently great, but the service can be hit or miss, especially on days when a young Hispanic woman is at the counter (I don't know her name). Whenever she's there, it takes an unusually long time to place and receive my order. On days when she's not working, I usually get my meal promptly. Additionally, her attitude could use some improvement.

I absolutely love this place! The food is always fresh, and the atmosphere is very friendly. We feel like family here—definitely my number one choice!

They give you a lot of food. Worth the money you'll spend.

Having grown up on the South Side of Chicago and now residing in Northwest Indiana, I can confidently say this is the only place nearby where I can enjoy food reminiscent of my old neighborhood in Chicago. They serve the best gyros in the area—fresh, flavorful, and generous portions!

This place was a great find stayed in a hotel nearby. I had the gyro plate with fries and it was fantastic. The sauce was extremely tasty on the gyro and fries. So much quality food (enough for 2) and the staff was efficient and kind.
