Hi-way Bakery - South Chicago Heights

I bought a dozen donuts to bring into work and everyone enjoyed them. The strawberry and blueberry donuts were delicious!

Best there is, in Chicago south suburbs....various FRESH Donuts, Danish, Twists with or w/o nuts, Fillngs...oh boy, cannoli etc. ordered ofcource) Frostings, decorations, seasonal holiday colors, ORDER YOUR SPECIAL CAKES, etc. XMAS so great for holidays. Festive cookies..... EASTER, HALLOWEEN, THXGVING! I am going ask about vacation themed cookies. Beaches, Dolphins WOW! . Go early 5AM for best selection.

Arrived to pick up our order on Friday and they did not have it ready. The man was very rude and claimed we never even placed the order. After a couple of minutes he actually found our order but instead of putting it down for Friday they put it down for Tuesday. Prior to that we had to even prove on our phone that we actually did call Highway bakery because he just would not believe us. So they wrote down the wrong date but refused to admit that they did. He said he would support his employee rather than the customer and said that we were not telling the truth. I am totally done with Highway bakery. We left there and went down to Pearson's who were wonderful and gave us just what we want it
