I always like to support small businesses and thoroughly recommend going to Le Pattisier. Jackie was very welcoming and took time out to give us a map and tell us the places to visit while we were here. Lovely to meet you Jackie, wishing you a happy Christmas x
It was a cold winters day, the cafe was warm and welcoming. Staff were very friendly and polite. We both had cream tea, the scones were warm and freshly baked with cream and jam.
Needed a bite but not a big lunch, and we happened upon this place advertising a cream tea with homemade scones, which was perfect. The scones were fresh, the clotted cream was from a foil-covered packet but was good enough. The tea was English Breakfast which is what we drink at home so we basically had an almost perfect cream tea, very nice on a dreary morning. The weather even cleared while we were there. The food that was being delivered to other tables looked good. We'd be happy to return for a full afternoon tea sometime when we are more hungry.
Just stopped in to have a scone and tea. Found the little shop to be delightful. The owner and her son waited on us and were very attentive. All the bake goods were made in house, and our scones tasted like it. In the best possible way. Not a chain just a nice little shop run by a family.
Went into this lovely independent cafe for a lovely lunch, bubbley and friendly atmosphere and the lady who owns it could not do enough for her customers with recommendations of the best places to go and see around Cambridge. Food was delicious and quick service But the best bit is the homemade cakes and scones that are out of this world! You must try them on your next trip to cambrigde.
