Gourmet Burger Kitchen Belsize Park

Visited this GBK to celebrate my wife's birthday with family, but was extremely disappointed with the service and general lack of attention shown by the staff. Initially, our drinks order was taken fairly swiftly, but we had to wait a while for a staff member to take our food order. Once we had finished our meal we had to wait about 15-20 minutes for our plates to be cleared away, despite numerous attempts to attract the attention of staff even though it was not exactly that busy. I then had to go to the bar to order dessert, which turned out to be a real mistake, as the 12 beignets were delivered in a box with no chocolate sauce. Furthermore, they had clearly been just taken out of the fridge, so were not particularly enjoyable, and I had to go to the bar again to get the chocolate sauce which was very sparse. Certainly won't be going there again.

I got a takeaway from this restaurant and I ordered a chicken burger and when it came it was raw. It was dangerously pink and not cooked at all

Came out for dinner as it was local and we hadn’t been for a while. I have an intolerance to wheat and allergy to dairy and was shocked they they didn’t offer a gluten free bun alternative. The options were very limited as most of their ingredients like onions etc were bulked with gluten so I couldn’t have them. I ended up having a plain beef burger without a bun (with the salad instead) and paid extra for pickles and guacamole. Not very exciting when other competitors can cater for dietary requirements better.

Visited with 2 hungry teenagers, who know what they like to eat. Did not disappoint. Clean plates all round. Excellent choice of menu options. Great customer service attention to detail. Very relaxed atmosphere to unwind from a busy day. Will return.

Simply amazing, stopped for lunch today and the burger was simply the best I have had in years. The service was even better, simply can’t fault in ANY way. I am lucky enough to have eaten all around the world, and this restaurant is up there for me. I really want to thank the staff for looking after me, they were simply amazing!
