I had a few dishes, but my whole time fav is the beef-massaman curry, but there are alternatives to choose from (chicken or tofu) not too spicy coconut curry. also did not know, thai beer was so beautiful, I recommend tiger beer. the staff is very friendly, I am sometimes trying to make a decision, and the waiters were not only patient, but suggested and took time to explain some dishes. they were very understanding with a few orders that were tweeted by allergies or misunderstandings. perfect place to go with friends and/or family.
The small thai is, as its name implies, a small Thai restaurant. in hampstead. the restaurant is just a few minutes walk from the royal free, not far from the picturesque garden gate pub. from dubai, where there is a series of authentic Thai restaurants, I found the food from the little thai mild (which is a polite way to say bland) and sweet, with absolutely no kick or bang to him. our tom kha suppe, for example, was so sweet that she tasted like a dessert. and the laksa, which was delivered in two separate keepers, one with the noodles and seasoned and the other with the suppe, thanked, was just a little...read more
I had the best night in a very long time last week I was there with a group of friends I saw in the old, and we laughed and laughed until we had kicked out more or less! their choice of weeping were excellent, the pad kra pau was the best I had in 5 years (if I lived in Thailand for 3 months) and all the cheaters were delicious! all friends took care of eating. 100% recommended to visit and I will soon be satisfied without doubt again to my Thai food needs
The little thai on south end green in hampstead has replaced the promising la cocotte. it seems to have slipped under the foodie radar, perhaps because of the many number of Thai chain restaurants in london, but it really has something new and rewarding to this particular corner of hampstead.
Average Thai, not much to say here. I was quite surprised by the rather handsome interior but we are in Hampstead in the end so everything has to have a bit of a polished touch! Was a bit annoyed by the useless waitress and the fact that food took ages to arrive, especially since none of other tables seemed to have such problem. I ordered a vegetarian garlic coriander stir fry which was actually ok, though the brown rice was slightly overcooked not as much as the noodles that my friend ordered though! Those were just one step before turning into a mash, ugh. So we shared my crispy veggies, nibbled on soft noodles and hurried to leave, as the room was really stuffed, with heavy Thai...read more
