Guests must try the delicious mushrooms and garlic, the savory lamb stifado, and the homemade baklava. Even for those who are not big fans of sweet desserts, the baklava is worth trying as it is not overpoweringly sweet, with a hint of cloves and a delicious syrup topping.
I had the psychic and my wife had the lamb at this restaurant, and both were the best meals we had in London. The food was excellent.
Vasis' is a great little restaurant great eating good price and good service. it's a bit away, but don't let them fool, it's a busy place with many regular, so the booking is recommended.
A reader recently asked me why I don't often write about Greek cuisine on the website. Truthfully, it's because I have to travel to North London to find the good stuff. I've been living in the Fitzrovia area for a few months now and there are so many places to discover. I'm surrounded by great options, with Schatz Co on the street and Oxford Street nearby. Despite there being plenty of Greek restaurants in London, I hadn't come across many in my area. When I stumbled upon Vasi's Restaurant in Fitzrovia, I knew I had to make a mental note to try it out for lunch one day.
