She looked the place up on Yelp (thanks guys and gals always, you da realest), and showed me what was what. A day later, we came back to try the place out. I order that pita sandwich and the shaq fries and she ordered the butter chicken platter. Everything was so good!!! I am in love with the ShaqFries. There is so much sauce, meat and fries!!! With he fries alone I felt pretty full, but I had to try my pita sandwich! The pita sandwich is also generously filled with goodies all of high quality. Her butter chicken platter was also very delicious. I had a few bites and was very happy! Overall; for the price, you are paying for good quality food and a friendly face taking care of you out of his humble food truck. We will be back!!
Came here on a whim and ended up super happy with what we ordered. Parked at Royal Taj, we came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and ordered a butter chicken shawarma over rice and a falafel plate. The guy working at the truck was very nice and he made our food in less than 8 minutes. We brought it to go and it was around $30 which felt kinda pricey but they give you a lot of food! Overall their falafel is mid but they have excellent hummus, rice, salad, and tahini. If you like parsley it'll be all over this bad boy but I would ask for less since it felt like a little too much for me. Their must buy is the butter chicken shawarma over rice. It was definitely more Indian than Mediterranean but it was so delicious. Moist chicken and tons of it and really balanced curry. I might just come here instead of royal taj for Indian takeout next time.
The butter chicken shawarma platter was yummy but spicier than expected. My kiddos order this and ate it anyway because it was so good. We also had the gyro platter and Greek salad with chicken. Everything was was yummy. The hummus and pita was good too. I would order from here again.
Ordered shawarma wrap and falafel salad platter. Both lacked flavour and were just lettuce with a lot of sauces. The ingredients weren't fresh too. The veggies were pretty large chunks as well. Most other Greek places in the area have simple fresh ingredients with a lot of flavor. Will not order from here again.
I went around 7pm and the gyro bowl was ok. The garlic fries weren't very crispy (I ate them right away) and they had way too much garlic. I probably won't be back, nothing really stood out to me or felt like it was made there. Just felt like an assembly food truck.
