There were none available so I booked with the only available personMy requests for more information about teh experience of the person being suggested were ignored. I didnt think much about it and decided to go ahead with the appointment.10 min later I realized I wasn 't comfortable with it, so /I texted and called to reschedule my appointment. There was no mention of a 12 hour cancellation at the time of booking. Wendy was super rude.She belatedly informed me about a 12 hour cancellation fee ... ....Ok... I think it was her tone and utter lack of customer service skills that ticked me off. There was no manager to speak too either! She also informed me: that there are no appointments for the next 5 days in the evening with a female flexologists available wow must be super busy!Please think before visiting this facility.
I had a terrible experience with the studio, do not recommend ever going there.In September 2022, I took a trial class at this studio. At the end of the class, I was offered membership. I preliminary agreed, but since I planned an out-of-town trip, I asked them for some time to think it through and to not start the membership until I’m back. I also asked if I can call and cancel the membership and if any penalty would be applied, to which I was told that I can just call them if I change my mind and no money will be withdrawn from my account. A couple of weeks prior the membership to start, I called and asked them to cancel it because of financial issues in our family. I was told that the manager wasn’t in the office and that they would get back to me. I waited for a couple of days, but no one reached out to me. I called them again and was told to send an email with the written statement that I want my membership to be canceled, which I did. I waited for a response from them for about a week, but no one reached out to me. I called again and asked if they got my email. I was told that they will cancel the membership, but since it’s less than two weeks before the membership starts, they will withdraw the monthly fee for the membership (reminder: I tried to cancel it before these two weeks). I disagreed and said that when I was at the studio, the lady at reception said that I won’t be charged if I change my mind, to which I was told that the manager is not in the office and they will get back to me. A week went by, and no one called me back. I saw the transaction on my account and called them again and asked why no one ever got back to me and why they charged me. I was told that the manager was not in the office and that they would call me back. Well, it’s February of 2023 now and I am still waiting for the call. I have never had such an awful experience with people. It’s beyond disrespectful. I tried to dispute the transaction, but they declined it. DO NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS STUDIO!
UPDATE : 115 for a 50 minute streach is unacceptable.I quit my membership a year ago because of non availibility of flexologists who could actually streach (Jeremy) others. After months of piling up of sessions due to delayed opening , and then covid, I was kind of forced to use up my remaining sessions or let them expire.The last time I'm going to this location at Campbell.
StretchLab targets a consumer who wants to work on flexibility (especially as you age) but also to have a knowledgeable person knowing the mechanics of the body, like a physical therapist. I finished my second treatment here and have to say it's on par with getting a good massage, but you also build long term flexibility. Flexibility is key to preventing injury, as well as helping people who become tighter less flexible as they age. The two therapists I worked with were very gentle with my limitation which is that I had a 9-disc fusion 7 months ago. It's great to get moving and stretching muscles after being on bed rest for several months.
I love StretchLabs! Why? It”s helped my body and movement tremendously from old injuries and having a sit down job in front of my computer all day. I stopped for a few months and felt the difference it made so I’ve returned to my weekly routine.
