Bento Tei - Canberra

The food was fantastic and the service was exceptionally friendly. I'm excited to bring my kids to try the meals served in cute teddy bear-shaped rice boxes. The prices are very reasonable and there is a good selection of dishes to choose from. I don't mind the small 20 cent surcharge on eftpos payments under $20 at all.

The food at this restaurant is incredible, and the customer service is outstanding. I will definitely recommend it to anyone.

My wife and kids have eaten at Bento Tei Gungahlin a number of times but for some strange reason, I’d missed out until recently! I truly enjoyed our family meal here. I had a Japanese Curry with Chicken Karaage, a perfectly seasoned fried chicken, for myself, a beef and hamburger bento box for my wife, two chicken bowls for my teens and a spicy Japanese-style chicken schnitzel to share. The place is admittedly small but full of character, from the lovingly painted wall art to the Spirited Away cartoon playing on the television. Would absolutely go back!
