The chicken dosa was decent, but not exceptional. The butter chicken stood out as one of the best dishes. It may be a bit sweeter than expected, but it was cooked perfectly. The portions of rice were generous. The garlic and cheese naan was delicious. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing as the staff seemed irritated when I requested an extra plate and cutlery.
The food at this restaurant is a great deal. It's fun to dine in, although I usually prefer takeout. They have a wide variety of Indian spices, breads, and rice to choose from.
This restaurant offers delicious Indian sweets and on weekends you can enjoy halwa puri, chaany, clothes, grocery items. The staff is very friendly and the seating area is clean. The indoor seating area is spacious enough for small dinner or lunch parties, and you can even organize a small birthday party there. Their Indian sweets are comparable to the best sweet shops in NSW, making this the best sweets place in ACT. Visit them at 2 Townshend Street, Phillip ACT 2606.
