Others had avocado and poached eggs, and one of us had the chocolate pancakes. The chocolate pancakes where the pick - fantastic and will have them next time - they were devine. Try the long black coffee - they have great coffee
EQ is on of the best cafes in Canberra for consistently great service including when they are busy and have large groups. They are fast and reliable, food is reasonably priced, and they have a great range from muffins and Danish pastries to beautiful meals and salads. There are good gluten free options and things for people with paleo leanings.I wish other cafes in Canberra would learn how to provide service like this. Ricardos is another great example of getting the package right.
The atmosphere at EQ is great. They have a range of menu options for everyone. Their coffee is strong and perfectly poured. I particularly enjoy their selection of cakes and pastries. This is a great venue to for both business meeting and to share a meal with friends or family.Although, sometimes the parking is a little difficult but it's still worth it.
EQ cafe is a fun cafe for morning coffee, brunch, lunch or whatever you need. The staff are young, vibrant and attentive. This gives the cafe my thumbs up for service and friendly feel. Service is quick so if you are having a business meeting or just catching up with friends there, you are eating before you know it. The barista knows how to make great coffee too. Great selection of drinks for the tea and otherwise options. Good size portions means value for money for you.
Very good food but aim for the specials or something that is a "meal" -- the burgers are quite lacklustre...(which is in stark contrast to how good the rest of the food is.) The pork belly curry (thai style) on Wednesday this week was excellent and very flavourful. They also have a great take-away counter and we bought a cake to bring back to the office!
