Not only that they have misunderstood my order, but the broken flathead was soggy and tasteless, while the chips were cold and flaks. will not go back.
My wife and I were been the shop for a take away hot pies, we been treated rude serviced by a girl in front of the counter, a pie’s price shown on the cabinet $6.50 each, but she charged us $14.80 for two, this does not right, but she replies with high voice “Of course, public holiday”. The pies come out with half warm half cold, not a hot pie
Hands down the most disappointing pizza I have eaten in Canberra. Dry and bland (the vegetarian Green Machine pizza). The worst part is that it's expensive too. Infuriating because it's essentially an expensive, gentrified takeaway shop of sub par quality at best. Maybe the non veggo stuff is better but seriously a ristorante pizza tastes better and costs a fifth of the price. At the least staff were very friendly.
So despite the name Flathead, their grilled bara is actually much better than the crumbed flathead. Found the batter a bit plain. Chips weren't too bad but could do with some light spicing. Overall it's okay, wouldn't drive out to buy from the place, but okay if you were in the vicinity
