Watson Take-Away - Canberra

I picked up a pizza from this restaurant for dinner while passing through Canberra. It was the best pizza I can ever recall having! The prices for all the food items are a bit high, but the portion sizes are generous. It has an old-school charm that many have mentioned before, and despite being very busy, the wait is worth it.

Best pizza with the one I've had for years. would normally have me through the half to medium munching, but the little one was more than enough inch (I am an older guy) high with fresh ingredients. only a few very...small tables and looks like they have alcohol for sale (but licensed food dealer next door). Chip side was well designed and the product looked good. shop was well visited.

It was time to look for dinner. I did the normal search for food near me and a few places came up. I went to the watson shops. the place where I was supposed to eat was closed, then I saw the...Take-Away I ordered a burger with the go. I was surprised when my number was called and found that it was a very good size, as I needed both hands to keep it. it was like the old days and it was very good to eat.

Great. can't go wrong with hamburger. a real old school aussie burger. chips are also good.

This place is gold. Old school, no frills grease with salad on the side. I discovered their steak sandwiches with the lot years ago and they keep me coming back. Pineapple on a steak sandwich might be devisive but I love it. Great pizzas,...potato cakes and savs in batter too.
