Note, this is not in the zona hotelera, so they need a car or drive the Collectivo bus. when they are in town, this is on tulum ave and has fantastic traditional dishes, very good prices and a nice personal arracherra, a local favorite. is fantastic. a meal similar to bark meat fajitas with well seasoned rock steak, bor, fresh guac, an salad and freshly made mais tortillas. delicious. good breakfast dishes too, did not try the rest, but the caffe was full of natives and they were clearly enjoying their meals.
Cheaper place with tasteful dining and great atmosphere. they need to try theri tacos with sprouts and fresh orange juise is one must (only 15 pesos.)
We had the Grouper fish tacos that were pretty good. I must warn you though. There hot sauce (Pico) is home made and is a habenero sauce. A bit to spicy for me, but my wife loved it.
