Isla Contoy - Cancún

De facil ubicacion, limpio y fresco, sirve solo pescado y mariscos los platillo son classico pero con buen sanzon, muy buen servicio y precio.

Delicioso. Un lugar sencillo sin grandes lujos pero con comida rica y buen servicio. Mi esposo y yo pedimos langosta y por las dos sólo pagamos $250 ! Y cocinadas cada quien como prefirió. Mi esposo al mojo de ajo y yo a la mantequilla. Ampliamente recomendable.

El lugar esta justo en el centro de cancun, cerca de un mercado y es muy folklórico,la comida es sin duda muy rica y los precios excelentes....pero sin duda lo que hace a este lugar tan especial es el trato cálido y extremadamente amable de sus propietarios, conocimos isla contoy en 1999 y se volvió parte de nuestra familia....no se lo pierdan

This was the only place open for a sit down meal when we got to Mercado 24 around 6pm. It's mostly seafood, but did have a few chicken and beef options. I got the fried chicken, which is not what you would expect fried chicken to be if you're from the US. US fried chicken is breaded chicken here, or empanizado. So it came as a bone in chicken leg and thigh that was probably cooked on a skillet. It was a little dry, but they provide so many sauces that makes up for it. The fries were absolutely delicious, and it also comes with rice and a salad mix on the side. They also brought out some appetizers that were pretty good. Chips with this sauce thing that I have no idea what it was and these small spicy things too It was overall very nice!

This place looked intriguing and we were hungry and hot and sweaty. The owner greeted us warmly and we were seated promptly. He visibly cooled when we didn’t order any beer, we don’t drink much, and it went downhill from there. We ordered from the seemingly reasonably priced menu, but laughed to ourselves when the meagre portions arrived. I’m not actually sure if there was any chicken between the skin and the bones of my dish... Anyways, I certainly won’t be back. The 300+lb crooner they had singing could have cleared the room with his voice if the guests hadn’t have been famished!
