Mount Engadine Lodge - Canmore

Great dinner at our first night in Canada, but although listed in Canmore as it is, note that it takes about an hour to get the beautiful lodge on a rocky road with wildlife everywhere. And the menu changes based on the availability of fresh vegetables and wild game purchased this day. Everyone gets the same appetizers and the same main escape and desert, but it was refreshing to be surprised and not to fear what you would choose. It's really a jewel in the Canadian rockies

We had a fantastic dinner on our first night in Canada! Just a heads up: although this restaurant is listed as being in Canmore, it actually takes about an hour to reach the stunning lodge along a rocky road, with wildlife all around. The menu changes daily based on the availability of fresh vegetables and wild game that they procure that day. Everyone shares the same appetizer, main course, and dessert, which was a delightful surprise—it took away the stress of making choices. This place is truly a gem in the Canadian Rockies!

We ordered the tea, which came with a beautiful charcuterie board, and then we had a selection of desserts that were very delicious!
