La Mandala - Cannes

We recently spent a very disappointing evening at La Mandala Restaurant in Cannes;They first took ages to serve us with our drinks, and being a warm evening, we had to ask for "service" on several occasions before they brought us our drinks.The food took equally long to arrive and the quality was disappointing; The St Pierre fish was expensive for the mini portion which finally arrived on our plates. The veggies were pathetic and the fries arrived after the meal !Altogether a bad experience, one which we will not repeat; Not recommended;

Modern beach in a good location.Fairly high priced.Restaurant is always busy so I suggest you book in advance.Food quality is good and produce is fresh.Service lacks a smile. They don't go the extra mile and customer satisfaction doesn't seem to be a high priority.The servers are casually dressed which doesn't match the sleek interior of the restaurant.Plenty of other beaches to choose..go there first.

The hostess took the order and brought us a wrong dish, which we asked her to replace. She made us pay for it when we received the bill. Worst beach restaurant on Croisette. Would not recommend to anyone.

Ate here the beginning of May 2017 a week before the film festival. The beachside location was great and the overall layout of the interior/covered spaces worked well to protect against the sun. Service was quick and attentive, although I had ordered a vegetarian pasta and they brought the dish with seafood. They very very quickly brought a new pasta dish and it was excellent. Prices were aligned with beachside locations, and compared to California beachside standards cheap. We paid for lunch under 60E's complete with wine, water and 2 mains -- for beachside this was a good deal. Prices were as follows: 17E veggie pasta 25E for a seafood dish. 2X6E wine 4E waterI'd go back again and most all places now offer free wifi -- the connection here was easy and fast.

I've used this beach restaurant a couple of days now during the day, it's very good, I'm looking forward to using again this Friday, Seafood pasta by the beach perfect
