Tacos El Tequila - Cape Coral

Fantastic Mexican cuisine! We were in the mood for authentic Mexican food, and this restaurant exceeded our expectations. We tried a range of dishes, and each one was delicious. The seating area is both cozy and clean, and they are adhering to Covid-19 precautions. We highly recommend this restaurant to locals and visitors alike who are seeking genuine Mexican flavors.

Friendly staff and delicious, authentic cuisine make this my new favorite spot! The food is incredibly genuine, even better than what I had in California! My server, Yailla, offered exceptional customer service, and I barely waited five minutes for my meal to arrive, piping hot! I'm already looking forward to my next visit, especially for the flan!

I used to order from this restaurant about four times a week because the food is great. However, I ordered tonight and found a hair in the box that my food came in. I tried calling the restaurant three times before they closed, but nobody answered. I’m really disappointed. I was looking forward to enjoying this meal and wanted to continue making them my go-to Mexican takeout spot, but now I’ll have to look for somewhere else.

Service was excellent. I had a shrimp burrito with sides of rice and beans. There was plenty of shrimps in the burrito which I appreciated, and the rice was very good, but I felt like there was little spice to the food overall. Chips were good but salsa was kind of watery. Flan was way over cooked. The service was the highlight.

We have been to many many places to eat in Ft.myers and cape coral, over the last almost 9 years living here! And some bad some good . Mostly really nothing great I would say ..... but this place was our 1st time there today , and wow ..... great, fresh, hot , tasty , We really enjoyed ! And the price was very reasonable.... Sad part is we found them and now there closing down . A new company is taking there spot .... Really they find a new spot .and then we can all go there... Thank you !
