Cicchetti - Cardiff

Booked a table for Sunday lunch as heard they had started it again . Had a three course lunch which was really excellent good portion size and very well cooked and presented . Staff very friendly and helpful . Special mention to Saverio who made our afternoon thank you !

This was our first and last visit to this restaurant. We went out for a special occasion and feel very disappointed that I choose this restaurant for this occasion. Firstly we had to move tables as there was a large party sitting near and their child was screaming and being extremely loud (over excited) and we couldn’t even talk or hear the waitress. Then when our main meals arrived my lasagne was cold in the middle they were apologetic but everyone had finished their meal before I had mine. Not even a drink whilst I waited was offered. Sadly first impressions was not a good one.

Terrible… booked a table for 18:15, arrived on time to no welcome, just told table is full, will be available in ten minutes and left to stand awkwardly in the way. Ten minutes later a young staff member sat us at an interim table for a drink which an order wasn’t taken. We never saw the table we had booked. The manager who took our food order had a terrible attitude. After a lengthy wait the food came in what I can only describe as a child’s portion. No Parmesan offered, no check if food was ok, no offer of further drinks and had to ask twice for desert menu. Wouldn’t recommend to an enemy

Stopped off for a coffee and a snack recently, whilst service was OK, we sat outside as weather sunny and a pleasant place to relax after a walk. We could not help but notice how untidy the seating area is...not swept at all Fag ends, dirty dog bowls with dirty water. it looks scruffy. Please take a bit of pride in your establishment.

Wonderful food amazing staff always a warm welcome! I cannot rate highly enough It’s literally the heart of the village!
