The Clifton - Cardiff

The pub is lovely and the staff are great. It's disappointing that we have to go to another pub to watch the football since they don't have any sports channels.

This restaurant is no longer the same as it used to be. It would benefit from a new manager to improve the overall atmosphere. There are too many disturbances and issues with alcohol management leading to antisocial behavior. There are better options for pubs in the area. I used to frequent this pub 2 to 3 times a week, but I will not be returning. The manager and their partner are often intoxicated. The Royal Oak is a better choice compared to this establishment. I would recommend avoiding this pub if you are looking for a peaceful drink. If you are seeking drugs or stolen items, it seems the landlady may be able to assist with that.

Good beers, friendly staff and customers are quite entertaining. Relaxed atmosphere in the lounge, bit more lively in the bar.

Saw it had bad reviews so thought I’d say I’ve only ever had great experiences here. Only used it since it was taken over by Juboraj but can’t fault it. Food is delicious and consistent, their paneer makhani and Keema rice are especially good. Friendly service too and never had a problem with wrong dishes. Only Indian I order from would highly recommend :

We ordered delivery from this restaurant on Just Eat. We ordered one chicken curry, one egg fried rice, 1 chips, and 1 naan bread, which came to a total of £17. The price was a bit high for the quality of the food. The delivery arrived earlier than expected, before my partner returned from a work meeting. The chips were soggy, the chicken curry wasn't very good, the egg fried rice didn't taste great, and the keema naan didn't have any meat in it. The delivery driver was friendly, but it took about 10 minutes for him to find change at the door. Overall, I wouldn't choose to order from this restaurant again.
