Crowes - Cardigan

Becky Crowe opened her café seven years ago on June 9, 2015, and it truly is a hidden gem! Tucked away in Black Lion Mews, Becky takes great pride in offering homemade foods, delightful cakes, and quiches that are simply irresistible. We sampled the healthy cheese quiche, paired with a potato salad in a mustard dressing, broccoli, freshly boiled beetroot, and olive salad. For dessert, we indulged in a lemon and courgette sponge cake topped with mascarpone, elderflower, and rose leaves. It was one of the most unique lunch experiences we've ever had! The freshly roasted coffee was bright and aromatic, complementing our meal perfectly. This café is a special place, frequented by both locals and tourists, and Becky certainly knows how to make her customers feel welcome!

I had a fantastic dining experience! The cakes are definitely worth a try, and the cozy setting adds to the charm. Even though my partner isn't vegetarian, he was really impressed with the food! The hoppity pie was amazing! The owner is also very friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, a lovely restaurant!

Delicious, delicious, delicious! I had a fantastic portion of a wonderfully tasty dish and couldn’t finish it all, so I took some home to enjoy with dinner. Becky is also the most wonderful person; I will definitely be coming back when I’m in the area again!

We had a nice lunch in crowes today. even if we arrived at the end of the lunch service. becky still managed to combine two helpers of homity cake, with interesting salads all effortlessly joined together. several other customers came while we ate and left no empty hand. some were obviously regular and confident said becky to simply assemble what had remained. a mouthwatering blueberry and limette cake was discarded for a customer, it looked so good that we could not resist having something too. the five star ratings are all completely justified. if we live in cardigan, this would be our regular weekend lunch place!

What an amazing find, the most fabulous healthy wholesome comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere. Coffee was gorgeous and cakes looked fabulous but couldn 't fit one in! Brilliant value for money. Frequented by the locals 'in the know ' who are known to the lady cafe owner by name. Lovely.
