Tacos with peas, potato, green beans and carrot and a chimichanga that was curried chicken with rice wrapped in a soft tortilla with guacamole on top. In case you read this and think well that sounds interesting we tried it so you don't have to. Save yourself and run for the hills!
Ordered take away - ran out of lamb shanks unfortunately.... had Nepalese chicken and momos - quite okay. Bf had mango chicken however wasn't overly impressed. Service was quick and friendly though. Reasonably priced.
I find this place a bit hit and miss. I've had some amazing indian curries from here but also some terrible nachos and wings. There are so many other indian and mexican places nearby that are much more worth the money.
A+ customer service, great food. Went for their Wednesday wings deal and was very pleasantly surprised. Between my partner and I we tried all 3 flavours of wings and loved them, best garlic and cheese naan either of us have had and the Go Green mocktail perfectly soothes after the spicy Chipotle wings. Staff were very friendly and effecient, inside dining area was laid out well, presented beautifully and air conditioned.
I've been wanting to try this place since it opened. They have a 2 for 1 Tuesday special, so decided to try it last night. There is no mention on their website about BYO or licenced, so I asked when I called to book & was told they are fully licenced and no BYO, even wine. On arrival we were presented with a much more limited menu than the one on their website, which was a disappointment. Also the prices were a lot higher. Burritos $17 vs $11.50 and curries $20 vs $15.90. Hmmm. Also I noticed other people walking in with bottles of wine and a corkage charge on the menu?? We ordered 2 drinks, a Sav Blanc and a beer. The beer and a red wine was delivered to the table. This was sorted without drama. When we ordered our meals we were told it would be about 1/2hr, which is pretty excessive considering it was 6pm and I think we were the first order. The food however was pretty good, even if the mains arrived before the entree. Very friendly and attentive staff and the food I would have given a 3.5 - 4. I just found the whole 2 for 1 thing to be a bit of a scam and don't know what to make of being told no BYO wine when everybody else in there bought a bottle. The net result was it was no cheaper than other Coorparoo/Camp Hill Indian restaurants and I wanted to try fusion dishes, of which there where pretty much none on the limited Tuesday menu. My advice would be go on another night and give the 2 for 1 a miss.
