I ordered a cappuccino, which had a good consistency and was quite pleasing to the palate. Would I rush back here, probably not, but it seems to have a loyal clientele and the owners are 'fighting the good fight'.
This is as simple as it can get. A hole-in-the-wall, some coffee, and sitting out on the pavement (albeit on chairs). It might not be on any hot list for coffee, but when you want some here it is. I had a favour to owe with my house mate/dining buddy, and he is a simple man with it. A new coffee place would have done the trick, and it was also a quick stop-over whilst both of us had our schedules to attend to. This led here, which from a couple of previous visits, the options available were assessed including here - a simple coffee place, one that is literally a hole-in-the-wall. Basically, it is the usual storyline here of trying one of the local businesses, and ticking each one of them off, and this was easy enough. Nothing more complex than that. About this place, it is so simple it could be summarised in a single paragraph with both the interior design, and the service. Service is pretty much what you want. The girl here had that young and coy demeanour to her, and overall it meant that she meant to do well, and to her credit she delivered. It was not outstanding service, and at the same time I do not have any complaints to give about it. Inside is cosy, with a couple of small low-lying tables, and small cushions as seats plus the murals of butterflies does give it some character. Reading material is available, and the al fresco table are decent enough. It runs with what it has and does good enough as a result. There is essentially just one thing on the menu here, and that is coffee. That is, all the usual suspects are available, as well as the iced drinks. For sweets and sides, the choices aren't far-reaching, but there are still is enough if you are one (like me) who finds it necessary to have something on the side. For what there is - basically the norm. You have banana bread and a similar variety, different sorts of cookies, and there are a couple of bagel varieties - which is a funny choice, but that is what I ended up having. The coffee that they use here comes from Campos. This used to be the one that would get my attention immediately, and it is still within one of my favourites. It generally offers a much better caffeine hit, though not one that is too bold for non-aficionados. Still though, for old times sake Campos is certainly a sign that they are going to make a good coffee. It was the case here. The coffee was good and strong, nice lot of crema and a smooth finish. This one was nutty and slightly with berries as a taste. Hot and strong, it was what was needed. For this area, just wanting a coffee and not much else, this is the destination. And getting to the side for the coffee, for something different - and to be healthy for once - a bagel with cream cheese ought to do the trick. It was a plain bagel, and the layer of cream cheese on it was really thick. Before being served, it was heated up nicely and the bread was moreish. Really, not too much to it but something that is pleasant and simple. It ain't bad, let's put it that way. To be honest, I think I have said all that has to be said about here. It does some decent coffee, it is not really one for much food - though it has a few bites if need be for the side - the entire area is about the size of a closet, and for what they can do in the tail-end of a village complex, it is probably as good as they can try. There is not really anything wrong with it, but at the same time there is not that much about it that calls for traveling across town to see it.

Located inside the Camp Hill Market Place. This café shines the glory in the local market. It does not need to have big venue to show off the coffee as long as the skill of the barista showcases the potential of the coffee bean. This café absolutely does the perfect match on the Campos coffee. Love the coffee, love the deco and love the passion.
Went there in the afternoon for a coffee. Okay customer service but the coffee was horrible, totally burnt coffee. As a person who works at cafe making coffees, very disappointing and ruining campos brand.
