The young staff seemed overwhelmed by the number of customers, even though the restaurant was not full. It seems like the owner is trying to cut costs by not hiring enough staff. I would recommend hiring more staff to improve the service. I was disappointed and will not be returning. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place.
I recently visited your cafe with my sister, who has a disability, and I feel compelled to provide some constructive feedback on my experience. To provide some context, I am an operations manager overseeing the success of seven different stores, so my perspective is based on professional knowledge rather than being a difficult customer. First and foremost, the service we received was extremely subpar. I allowed my sister to order for herself, as it is important for her to have autonomy in her choices. However, your staff rushed her and repeatedly looked at me, expecting me to take over the ordering process. This lack of patience and assistance was disappointing, especially considering the unique circumstances. Moreover, when we found a table and settled down, we noticed that there was nothing stocked on it. The water jug was empty, and the glasses were in an unsightly condition. There were visible marks and food remnants stuck to the glassware, which is unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. When I requested some salt, one of the staff members actually asked me to retrieve it myself from another table. To my surprise, both containers were empty, leading to unnecessary inconvenience. To exacerbate the situation, the waiting time for our food was excessive. We waited for a staggering 20 minutes for a burger, which, considering its price of $19, was disheartening. The fact that the burger was made with processed chicken further added to the disappointment. While we were seated, I also overheard a staff member using inappropriate language, loudly exclaiming profanities because of a microwave mishap. Such unprofessional behavior is not conducive to a pleasant dining environment. What baffles me the most is that the cafe was relatively quiet on that particular Tuesday, so the delays and lack of attention to detail cannot be attributed to a high influx of customers. The overall appearance of the cafe and the conduct of the staff present a negative impression of your establishment. I strongly suggest that the managers and owners of this franchise take a hands-on approach and rebuild the cafe from the ground up, as the responsibility for improvement ultimately lies with them. To say that I am appalled by my experience would be an understatement. Based on this encounter, I will not be returning to any of the franchises across Australia. As someone with extensive experience in managing successful stores, I sincerely hope that this feedback is taken constructively, and the necessary steps are taken to rectify the issues I have raised.

This restaurant serves seasonal single origin coffee that goes well with both black and white coffee. The coffee beans are high quality and the milk is frothed perfectly. The decor may look a bit outdated.
Ordered at 11:20am. Food arrived at 11:27am Coffee arrived at 11:38am. How can a cooked breakfast arrive nearly 10mins before coffee? Watch for prices! The menu said adding bacon would be extra $5.50. The customer service person was going to charge me $6.50. Brunch cost $30.50 for coffee big breakfast. Customer service person called me “lovely”. As in “Yes Lovely you can get bacon.” Puke worthy calling me that not knowing me. People of all ages here. I picked here as they had some comfy chairs and long lounge to sit on. Not sure I will venture back. Food was average. Service was terrible. Lots of uncleaned tables.
