Loving Hut @ Mount Gravatt - Carindale

We have been going to the Loving Hut for years. It is still one of my favourite places to eat. Never had a bad meal. Would recommend it to anyone. Gluten free options are great.

Lovely views especially on a calm clear day. Coffee and cake presented nicely by friendly young staff. Really enjoyed our time sitting in the sun with Brisbane spread before us. Shop closes at 3pm I think. Take a jumper on a cool day as the wind can be quite brisk. Quite delightful.

Came here with my boyfriend (neither of us are vegan) and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals! If anything, the meals may have been a bit big for our normal portion sizes, but you can ask for a takeaway container to take the rest of your meal home.The service was incredibly friendly and all staff I encountered were polite and helpful

My partner and I have ordered maybe half of their menu. Some items we really enjoy and others are a miss for us, personally. Can get quite busy during dinner time, so we like to go earlier in the evening or for lunch. Most dishes are asian inspired, but there are a few pasta dishes also. Everything is quite flavoursome, maybe a little too flavoursome sometimes depending on the dish. His favourites are the Seven Seas Delight and Crispy Yum meals. Mine are the pastas; Lasagne and Carbonara! Their entrees are tasty but most are on the oily side. We still go back maybe once or twice a month to order our favourites, and will usually try a different item from the menu to experience something different.

Vegan food is becoming quite popular and this place caters well. It is generally asian with protein pieces substituted for the meat. You can even get non-fish and chips! The restaurant itself is fairly basic with both inside and outside chairs. The menu is quite comprehensive and not expensive. Service was good and we didn’t wait long. The food was good although there were some mixed feelings about the protein pieces. Why not focus on the great vegetables? All up we were all happy with our meals and would go again.
