This small pub is nestled around suburbia is a little gem that can be found if you stray off the beaten path. The establishment looks like it was recently refurbish, and presents itself as clean and modern. Food is good, and there are good "Tradie Specials" which is a nice addition for those on a budget.
Great pub in a nice location. I love the layout and the friendly staff. They have a pretty good lunch menu and some good weekly specials. They could do with better Signage.
We ordered our meals and drinks at the bar and waited about 20 minutes until the chef eventually came out and told us he had only just received our orders. Keep in mind the place was practically empty. We finally received our food- the BLT was delicious and the pulled pork sliders were also great, although the sauce was a bit too sweet. After dinner we hoped to order dessert but was told by the manager (?) that the chef had already left and we should just get some chocolate on the way home. We suggested he could cut us some cake and simply put it on a plate for us but we were again denied service. We weren't too happy with this lack of customer service, and surprised that they didn't welcome extra business. Probably wouldn't attend the Carlisle Hotel again simply due to the service.
We attended this place last night with friends for the steak night. The place was packed. We had booked a booth which had been taken. Very quickly The friendly owner got us a table quickly and we were seated. The food was great. Hubby was happy with the Serving size and the staff attentive. We will be going back a lot. Very friendly local pub to relax and unwind in.
