A truly lovely coffee shop! The staff was friendly, and the coffee was outstanding. The owner, Rob, noticed me admiring their stylish clothes and generously offered me a hot item from the display, saying it was mine! Now that's what I call great customer service! As an entrepreneur, I can easily recognize someone who genuinely cares about their craft and wants to share it with others. We're really looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Baba!

I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I was about to order an iced latte when I noticed the happy hour sign. Wine seemed like a better option, so I ordered avocado toast on gluten-free bread and a bottle of white wine. It was absolutely delicious—just thinly sliced avocado with salt and pepper, but served on the best gluten-free bread I've ever tasted, and the avocado was perfectly ripe. The Sauvignon Blanc I ordered was crisp, lively, citrusy, and refreshing. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and they even found us an iPhone charger! The entire place was clean and well-maintained. I'll definitely be coming back! By the way, I just called to ask about the gluten-free bread, and they told me they source it from Johann’s Bakery in Vista, which is a family business.

We visited a cozy café in Carlsbad and brought our salads and sandwiches to Carruth Cellars, which is conveniently right next door. The server was kind enough to deliver our order to the winery for us. The café offered a lovely menu featuring a variety of salads and sandwiches, including numerous gluten-free and vegetarian options. The coffee was also delightful. Additionally, there was a great selection of craft beers and a diverse wine list to enjoy.

Went to Baba on Mother’s Day before a padres game. We let them know we had to get on the coaster in 10min, they quickly made our drinks and we made it just in time. Also, my moms drink was FREE. Great service and delicious coffee! Will definitely be going back.
